Mission

Over the last couple of decades, campus farms have been popping up in all corners of the country, many with very similar goals: provide a space in which students can get hands-on farming experience while learning about sustainable agriculture techniques.

The mission of the Academic Farm Association is to enhance communication among these sustainably-minded farms. We aim to provide basic information about each farm, including its history of creation, how it is run, and the programs it offers in order to share information, resources and knowledge to strengthen the sustainable farm movement on campuses and unify these farms.
